Opening Beeldengalerij Haarlem

I’m very pleased to invite you to the opening of the sculpture route ‘Beeldengalerij Haarlem’. 

Last months, I’ve been working on a new sculpture ‘cover-Re-cover‘, that will be on show for a year in public space at the Dreef in Haarlem. This project will be presented next to works of 9 colleagues, and one sculpture designed and created by students of Coornhert College in Haarlem. All participants have been challenged to work around the theme of ‘recycling’ / ‘circulair economy’.

The opening takes place at the 17th of May, from 15.30 onwards in the garden of Provinciehuis Haarlem (Adress: Dreef 3).

-15.30 – 16.15: Openings speeches by Jaap van Zetten (chairman Foundation Stichting Hildebrandmonument), Marie-Therese Meijs (Alderman of Culture), Ann de Meester (director Frans Hals Museum)

– musical intermezzo by ‘Dos Hermanos’

– after opening, till around 17h; artist are present to tell something about their work while visitors walk the route.
