‘Paved Paradise’ expresses the desire to restore what is being suppressed or crushed. The paving stones hinder the recovery. These solid concrete weights, that help humankind moving quickly from A to B, purposeful and efficient, rest heavily on the world. The human hand faces a choice. If it pulls up, there is a chance for recovery. If it lets go, the earth suffers, fatal for all that lives.
